I've decided I need to make more soup. I've never really made much soup other than the occasional chili or tortilla soup and I'm not really sure why. I read an article in the paper the other day that touted the benefits of eating more soup. It's still so cold and dreary and I feel like I'm in a cooking rut anyway, so I've decided to make the next two weeks very soupy and I'm pretty excited about it. I plan on using the crock pot as much as I can and I've already started scouring for recipes. I'm going to try to document all my soup successes and hope that will be a great motivator.
